Assisting Hands Home Care – The Villages is a locally owned home care agency based on CR 466 in The Villages. We provide non-medical, in-home care that helps seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home, with care plans built around each person’s routine and preferences. Why We Started Assisting Hands – The Villages

Our agency began with a family experience. Owners Adam and Linda Skolnik spent years arranging in-home care for Adam’s mother and saw how hard it was to find trained, dependable help. They opened Assisting Hands The Villages to give local families a better option: qualified caregivers, clear communication, and care that treats every client with dignity.

Locally Owned and Locally Managed

Your care is managed here in The Villages, not by a distant call center. Our owners and care coordination staff live in Central Florida and work directly with families on scheduling, care plans, and ongoing communication.

Assisting Hands Home Care was founded by Dr. Gail Silverstein, who spent more than 25 years leading health care programs and saw a gap in home care while trying to find help for her own father. Our location combines that national framework with local ownership and decision-making.
