Assisting Hands helped me set up a temporary caregiver for my dad while they were here in Florida this winter. They were very understanding of the short-term situation and very helpful in getting someone to help us out. The moment we met Djina and she came into our lives, she was very friendly and caring and had a beautiful smile for my dad. He took to her and would do his therapy and little projects and go for walks and play cards. He thoroughly enjoyed the time Djina spent with him. When it was time for Djina to leave, he would always say, "Now when are you coming back?" We are very happy with Assisting Hands and believe that Djina is a true "gem"!

The entire Staff at Assisting Hands went above and beyond to provide the most extraordinary and compassionate care for my Mom while she was recovering from surgery at home. We want to express our deepest appreciation to the entire Team for their exceptional service from start to finish. We will always be grateful for the assistance and support they gave us during such a critical time. The entire Staff was so easy to work with and quick to respond to Mom's specific needs post-surgery. One of the Staff members played an integral part in saving Mom's life by reporting signs of a blood clot in her arm. Without that alert from the caregiver, we could have lost Mom. We are forever grateful to everyone at Assisting Hands!!! If we ever need home health care in the future, we will definitely call on Assisting Hands again.

The folks at Assisting Hands were a godsend for our family! None of my step-dad's family live in southwest Florida and we were unable to care for him properly. I hired AH to send a home caregiver a couple of days a week to cook, clean and provide companionship. We were blessed to be introduced to Rachel, who went above and beyond with her care and concern for our Pops. He has recently moved into an assisted living facility to receive 24/7 care. AH (especially Carole) made the entire process a very good experience - All concerns, from scheduling to billing, were addressed in a prompt and professional manner. Thank you Assisting Hands!!!

Assisting Hands Home Care provided wonderful care for my mother for almost 5 years. They did so with dignity and respect while making her part of the decision process. As each year went by, mom relied on them more and more. Even though mom lived with us, Assisting Hands provided mom her the sense of freedom. The Office staff was also great at communicating with the family and keeping up with mom's schedule. Everyone there was professional and great to work with.

Assisting Hands is a wonderful service--very personal, warm, friendly, and hands on in a world that seems to contain fewer and fewer such companies. They stepped up to full time care on a dime when my mother had a sudden emergency room stay, and then just as easily stepped it back down as she recovered. And truly, it seemed that they were doing more than just providing companionship and care for my mother. They just as understanding and companionable to me, the anxious and harried daughter trying to manage my mother's care, as they were to my mother with her very particular (I might even say crotchety) needs and desires. The caregivers were so lovely--good-humored and fun as well as responsible and responsive--and the administrative staff was, too. When you call, you get a person, or if you have to leave a message, they get back to you right away. Really, I can't say enough good about this company, and if we weren't having to move my mother out of state for a host of family reasons, we would stick with Assisting Hands for her care for the rest of her life.
