Starting with in-home care can feel overwhelming, and many of the families we work with only wish they would have started the process sooner. This is what you can expect when you contact us:
- Give us a call at 239-337-4263: You’ll be greeted by our experienced Client Care Manager. If you call during the evening or on the weekend, you’ll speak with one of our schedulers. We answer our phones 7 days a week.
- Basic Information: When we speak with you, we will try to gather some of the following information
- Who is the are for?
- Where do they live?
- What kind of help are they needing?
- What kind of schedule are you looking for?
- How soon do you want to get started
- Intake: If you would like to move forward, we will setup an free intake and assessment with one of our Registered Nurses. The intake will consist of going through the state required intake paperwork, and assessing you or your loved one. This helps us to develop the best care plan possible and make sure we haven’t missed anything. Additionally, if you have long term care insurance, we will gather that information during this time so we can begin working with your insurance company. Generally, this meeting takes less than an hour. If you’re short on time, much of the paperwork can be completed ahead of time, online.
- Once the intake is completed, we can develop a schedule to begin services. We will also be able to answer any other questions you may have.
Sometimes families contact us in a time of crisis, where they need to start care immediately. We are able to accommodate this, and in some cases can start care same day.
Our dedicated office team all live locally in the Fort Myers area, and have been working together for many years. We work together as one to ensure the care for you or your loved one is seamless.
