Caregivers are the heart of a home care agency, and every month we like to take the time to shine a spotlight on one of our superstars to let them know how much we appreciate all of their hard work. 

About Yvette

Yvette has been with Assisting Hands for over a year and she is an integral staple on our team. Yvette is calm, warm and down to earth which makes her able to handle any situation with grace and compassion. We think of Yvette as the perfect caregiver for all of our clients, because anyone would feel comfortable with her in their home! She just exudes a friendly energy! 

Yvette is the picture of a team player and she is always willing to help out. She works with a few different families and all of her clients adore her. Yvette says she enjoys making her clients happy just by being there, and from all we hear from her clients, that is exactly what she does. Yvette says of her seniors, “I’ve been very blessed to have the clients I have. They are wonderful people and I enjoy seeing them every week.”

If Yvette was to give advice to a new caregiver, she would advise: “just be happy and be yourself… and remember you’re making a difference in someone’s life!” We know Yvette makes us happy by being herself! Because we know first-hand the beautiful difference that Yvette is making in her clients lives. 

Yvette has 4 boys, so when she is not shining her light on our clients she is shining on her sons!  She says she loves spending time with them and they always come up with new and exciting things to do together.
