Earn your NJ certification to be a professional NJ CHHA and make a difference for so many! Professional caregivers are superheroes in disguise, using their gifts of compassion and skill help them stay safe and healthy at home.


Our cost-effective, small group classes are held at our convenient location in Sea Girt with lots of one-on-one time with the instructor to ensure the highest level of skill mastery. The clinicals are done on-site.


Requirements of the class are:


  • 76 Hours of comprehensive training including 60 hours of educational training and 16 hours of hands-on clinical instruction.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a US citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Mandatory attendance for the full required time at all sessions
  • Assistance with certification application after successful passage of state competency exam
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Employment or Promise of Employment by an Accredited Home Care Agency
  • Book and workbook provided (refundable $50 deposit required)
  • Two forms of Identification
  • One 2 X 2 size Color Passport photo-actual (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Marriage Certificate (if your last name has changed)
  • Must have medicals complete for the first day of class:
    • 2-Step PPD/Quantiferon/Chest X-ray
    • MMRs
    • Physical within last 12 months
    • COVID vaccine card that shows completion of two shots plus at least one booster

  • September 9-26, 2024
  • October 7-24, 2024
  • November 4-21, 2024
    • Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays-9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
      Thursdays-9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
      Exam day will be Wednesday, Nov. 21 starting at 9 a.m. The day usually ends at noon.

CNA’s are welcome to join the 10-hour bridge class to get a CHHA certification.


CNA to HHA Bridge Course that is 10 hours of instruction plus two hours of clinical training in our facility.


You must have an active and in good standing NJ CNA license to take the bridge course. Once complete, you will have to pass a final exam proctored by our authorized Registered Nurse, before being able to apply for your HHA license.
