A huge thank you to all our caregivers, our clients, and our community partners for joining us at our holiday open house last Friday. Thank you so much for showing up and hopefully having as much fun as we did.
About the Holiday Open House
We enjoyed decking out our front family room of the office with some homey holiday cheer. We had some special holiday cupcakes delivered from our favorite cupcake shop, along with other sweet and savory goodies, hot cocoa with a toppings bar, and mulled hot cider.
In true creative and fun Assisting Hands fashion, we also had a few activities our guests could participate in. We had a puzzle guests could complete together, or as quickly as possible! We also had a house hunting activity to count how many houses are hiding in our office. (Some of them are from our Holiday Houses promotional project this month!) We also had a prize box participants could pick from, which we feel was a good motivator!
Another part of our party was our Assisting Hands Mitten Board where our guests could answer the question, “What assisting hands in your life are you thankful for this holiday season?” We were warmed to see all of the helpful mittened hands our community has in their lives.
Proud to be Part of the Giving Community
We are so thankful to be a part of the giving community of people who have grown around Assisting Hands. Sesalee and I were happy holiday elves and did our share of helping for the party, but we really must say a huge holiday thank you to our head elf, Daniellah, who put the whole party together. Thank you, Daniellah, for caring about the details big and small to put on a festive and splendid bash. And thank you for forever making Assisting Hands a thoughtful and detail-oriented business of senior care. We appreciate working for you and with you!
