What a February! We have had record snowfall and cold temperatures, all on top of still living during the age of Covid. This month at Assisting Hands we are reminded of two very important things we have been embracing that we would love to share with you!

Warm Thoughts

With all of the challenges that this past year has brought us with Covid-19, coupled with the unexpected Chicago weather, this month we are reminded that sometimes we just have to go with the flow! Life tends to be unexpected and sometimes the best way to deal with change is to embrace it and find the excitement. Snow is a hassle to deal with…but it is also making our town gorgeous, providing hours of entertainment for some of us and for others it is a cozy backdrop as we stay wrapped up and warm in our homes.

2. Show your love!

Secondly, we consider February to be the month of love in the office here at Assisting Hands. We love special celebratory reminders like Valentine’s Day that give us the opportunity to show all of our love and appreciation for our entire Assisting Hands Family.

Speaking of showing our love, we were happy to host a little Valentine’s Day-themed open house for our caregivers this month. Thank you so much to our phenomenal Team! Our caregivers are such hard workers and truly caring individuals, we do our best to show them how special they are to us. Here is a special personalized treat we made for our caregivers. We had many of our caregivers swing by the office to pick these up along with some roses, visit with us, and snag a few chocolates to go!
