Assisting Hands Yorba Linda is holding a Christmas food drive from now until Dec. 8th.
By doing so, we extend our gratitude and service to the local veteran and senior communities in Placentia.
Specifically, we are donating food to the Placentia Veterans Village and the Placentia Senior Center.

Placentia Veterans Village
The Placentia Veterans Village is a permanent supportive housing development that serves military veterans who are homeless.
The City of Placentia partnered with the County of Orange, Mercy Housing California, and New Directions to plan, design, construct and administer.
Mercy Housing California has developed the Placentia Veterans Village.
The Placentia Veterans Village is a high quality and affordable apartment complex development for United States Military Veterans who are homeless and or disabled.
As such, the state-of-the-art Placentia Veterans Village includes 50 furnished apartment homes (49 for veterans and 1 for one-site management unit).
It also contains a courtyard, community garden, recreation room, energy efficient design and appliances, computer room, and resident services offices.
Placentia Senior Center
In addition, the Placentia Senior Center offers many activities and programs for older adults.
