Nancy Wilch, MSN, RN – Owner & Administrator

Born and raised in San Antonio, Nancy has dedicated her life to healthcare, serving those in need with skill, compassion, and leadership. With over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, she has worked extensively in Neuro ICU at Methodist Hospital, where she served as a Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, and mentor to countless aspiring nurses. Her passion for education led her to Galen College of Nursing, where she helped shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Nancy holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and brings her wealth of knowledge and commitment to excellence to Assisting Hands Home Care. She takes pride in training and mentoring caregivers, using her dynamic teaching methods to ensure they provide the highest quality care to clients. With a heart for service and a dedication to empowering others, Nancy is committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and individuals in need throughout the San Antonio community.

Troy ‘Doc’ Wilch – Owner & President

Troy’s journey in healthcare began as a Navy Corpsman, where he found his calling in caring for others. Stationed at NAS Jacksonville in Florida, he provided compassionate support to fellow service members and their families in the ICU, ER, and physical therapy units. His dedication led him to serve alongside the Marines as a ‘Doc,’ experiencing multiple combat deployments, humanitarian missions, and global assignments. Seeking to further his commitment, he later joined the Marine Corps, earning the prestigious title of Marine and continuing his service abroad.

Following his military career, Troy transitioned into the technology sector, embarking on a long successful IT career with Microsoft, where he continues to support the Navy’s technological advancements. However, his heart has always remained in healthcare. Now, alongside his wife, Nancy, Troy has returned to his roots—serving the San Antonio community through Assisting Hands Home Care. With a deep passion for providing compassionate care, he is dedicated to ensuring that seniors and individuals in need receive the dignity, support, and assistance they deserve.
