in home care provider can encourage your mom to maintain good health.

Ovarian cancer often is not thought of in women beyond childbearing age. Until the tumor grows and symptoms occur, this disease is not easily detectable. However, during a vaginal exam the doctor may find indicators before cancer grows or spreads.

Osteoporosis is more prevalent in women than men. This disease causes the bones to weaken and become brittle. If your mom has osteoporosis, having an in home care provider will help her if she develops difficulty with balance and walking. This same provider may guide mom through exercises and nutritional changes that will help keep her bones from getting worse.

As senior women get older they may experience depression. The illness or loss of a spouse often triggers the beginning stages of depression among women as well as friends and relatives moving away or passing on. This often leaves seniors feeling vulnerable. The in home care provider often acts as a companion providing social time as well as care time.

The home care provider is a professional who will help your mom maintain her current health status and help her and you find ways to enhance her future days. Each day is made for living and living it to the fullest. Mom’s provider will help her do just that.
