In the U.S., there are over 70 million seniors who have served in the armed forces. Veterans and their spouses who need home care can help cover the cost of this care if they qualify for Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits.
At Assisting Hands Home Care, we are a VA care provider in Benbrook, TX that provides home health care and respite care for veterans and their spouses. Those applying for VA care must first be eligible for VA benefits that can be used to cover the cost of care from our licensed caregivers. Reach out to our staff if you or a loved one is a veteran of the armed forces and in need of home care services.
Veterans and the spouses of veterans can see if they qualify for VA benefits by applying for these benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs. Once a veteran receives these benefits, they can then put them towards the cost of care through our VA programs. Veterans who qualify will receive quality home care that includes personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other tasks from our licensed caregivers. We will create a care plan that accommodates the unique needs of your loved ones, and our caregiver will treat them with compassion and respect while providing quality care.
Assisting Hands Home Care offers the following VA care programs for qualified veterans and their spouses:
VA Home Health Aide (HHA) Homemaker/ Home Health Program
