On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, Assisting Hands of Lombard joined the DuPage Veterans Resource Fair to connect with local veterans and their families. There were 93 organizations present to help veterans throughout DuPage County. Assisting Hands was there to let veterans know that they can receive home care benefits from the VA.

We were there to answer questions about their eligibility and how they can apply to get those benefits if they are eligible. They were there to help our country, and the VA is there to help them.

To be happy and at home with VA-approved caregivers from Assisting Hands Home Care of Lombard. We currently care for 13 veterans, and that is one of the biggest honors of working for a home care agency.
