During their careers in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled rehabilitation settings, Richard and Jennifer continually saw seniors returning to hospitals because they lacked adequate support at home. They recognized that many hospitalizations and falls could be prevented with simple assistance such as medication reminders, mobility support, and home safety help.
Their backgrounds in physical therapy and healthcare leadership helped them understand both the clinical and operational side of senior care. Richard also served as a hospital executive and recognized the importance of combining strong business systems with compassionate care.
This ultimately led them to pursue franchising through Assisting Hands Home Care®. They wanted to build a business centered around helping seniors safely remain at home while also creating long-term financial opportunity for their family.
