Helping Seniors Avoid Hospital Stays
We are intently focused on preventing hospital admissions. During the pandemic, in particular, we found that to achieve our objectives for keeping clients out of the hospital, we need to work closely with family caregivers.
In home care, we have seen firsthand how individuals can Age in Place successfully. Maintaining / managing senior’s health at home is key for staying out of the hospital/rehab. Hospital stays can be very difficult, expensive and cause unintended consequences.
At Assisting Hands, our care team does a lot to keep individuals healthy, but many of these things can be and are being done by family members.
