Join Us for a Virtual Memory Cafe with Ronit and Estella!
We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming virtual gathering on Friday, March 7th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.! This special event will be led by Ronit and Estella from the Museum of Fine Arts, and it promises to be an engaging and insightful experience.
During this gathering, we’ll explore the fascinating relationship between music and art, diving deep into the museum’s rich collection of artworks that represent musical instruments and the essence of music itself. You’ll have the chance to discover how music has been captured and conveyed through art, and how these creative expressions blend to tell powerful stories.
The tour will include detailed discussions of various musical instruments, along with audio clips of the instruments in action, giving you an immersive experience like no other. From the delicate strum of a string instrument to the deep resonance of percussion, you’ll be able to hear the sounds that have inspired visual artists for centuries. This virtual gathering is an excellent opportunity to expand your appreciation for both music and art while enjoying the comfort of your own home.
When: Friday, March, 7th, 2025 – 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

These virtual get-togethers have been a wonderful way to keep everyone connected, and we look forward to continuing to build our supportive community in this new format until we can meet in person again. Thank you for being part of the JF&CS Memory Café family, and we look forward to seeing you at our next virtual session!
As the cooler weather sets in and we embrace the cozy comforts of winter, the JF&CS Memory Café community remains as connected as ever. While we look forward to resuming in-person gatherings in the spring, we’re keeping the spirit of our Café alive by hosting all of our events virtually via Zoom.
Here’s an update on what’s happening in the meantime:
Thursday Café Chats – On Hold Until Spring
Our monthly Café Chats, which take place on Thursdays, will be taking a break after our December 19th session. These hour-long, informal chats have been a cherished part of our community, but will return in person come spring. In the meantime, we encourage you to take part in our other virtual offerings!
Friday Memory Cafés – Continuing Virtually
Our beloved Friday Memory Café meetings, scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., will continue monthly and are now held virtually on Zoom. These sessions include a guest facilitator, along with opportunities for sharing, connecting, and engaging in activities that promote mental wellness.
Recording Available and More Cafés to Explore
Can’t make it to either Café? Don’t worry! We’ll have recordings of our Memory Café sessions available, so you can catch up on the conversations at your convenience. Visit our Memory Café video playlist here to stay connected.
