Assisting Hands Boston is delighted to invite you to our upcoming Memory Café on Friday, May 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., featuring a special visit from Terry E. Carter, the City of Medford’s inaugural Poet Laureate (2021–2023). Terry is an accomplished poet who has published six volumes of poetry and is currently working on his seventh. During this engaging and welcoming program, Terry will share his poems, talk about the inspirations behind his writing, and lead participants in a fun and accessible poetry activity. No prior writing experience is needed—just an openness to creativity and connection.
