Jewish Family & Children Service is holding another Memory Café on Friday, May 3rd, from 10 am to noon! Join singer/guitarist Ruth Rappaport as we sing folk songs of the 1960s. We’ll sing songs popularized by Woody Guthrie; Pete Seeger; The Weavers; Peter, Paul, and Mary; and others. It’ll be a trip down memory lane! Word sheets will be provided as well as shakers/tambourines.
Check out the full invitation here.
Please note that the JF&CS Memory Café will meet monthly in-person in Waltham except for virtual meetings in the winter months.

Want to Join Another Memory Cafe?
Many Massachusetts memory cafés now offer virtual programs, some are meeting outdoors, and some are gearing up to resume indoor meetings. You can find our directory here: www.jfcsboston.org/MemoryCafeDirectory (Look for the blue sidebar listing virtual cafés, on the right side of the page), it’s continuously updated. There is also a national virtual café directory here: www.memorycafedirectory.com/cafe-connect/.
Here is a one-minute video in English, Portuguese, and Spanish that shows memory cafés in action, including virtual and in-person cafés. Please share this with anyone who would like to know what a memory café is all about!
