Lori Fitzgerald, MS, OTR/L – Vice President of Operations and Client Services
We are delighted to welcome Lori Fitzgerald, MS, OTR/L, as our new Vice President of Operations and Client Services at Assisting Hands – Boston NW! Lori brings over two decades of experience as a healthcare clinician and team leader, making her an exceptional addition to our team.
Lori’s extensive background in healthcare spans both direct patient care and management, allowing her to develop care models that prioritize both exceptional client outcomes and sustainable business growth. Her ability to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and operational excellence is a tremendous asset to our organization.
Before joining Assisting Hands, Lori led a home care team specializing in private pay case management, overseeing business growth, partnership development, and client acquisitions. As an Occupational Therapist and Case Manager, she also spearheaded clinician-led caregiver training programs and introduced a Geriatric Care Manager service line to better serve clients’ needs.
In her role at Assisting Hands, Lori remains dedicated to her clinical roots, maintaining her licensure and an active caseload. Her leadership will not only support our caregivers and staff but also reinforce our mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality home care services. Her expertise in training and development will empower our team to continue providing exceptional care to the communities we serve.
Lori resides north of Boston with her husband, two teenage sons, and two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking.
