Care Frequency
The frequency of care is determined by the individual, the family, and the disabled person’s specific needs. When visiting friends or family, going to the hospital, or going on a weekly shopping trip, Assisting Hands can help. We can help with mobility problems or provide companionship to keep someone entertained. We can assist you whether your needs are daily, weekly, or on a regular basis. However, we do not offer stand-alone transportation. Transportation services are only offered to customers with an ongoing schedule or in connection with a 12-hour shift within a week.

- When home maintenance is scheduled, it’s helpful to have someone on hand to supervise the work – whether it’s painting, HVAC work, gardening, or other maintenance.
- Preparation of meals We can assist with basic meal preparation, eating assistance, and grocery list creation.
- Personal assistance is available. We can also provide regular housekeeping assistance. We can, for example, assist with the care of plants and pets, answering the door, preparing grocery lists, organizing mail, and providing light housekeeping.
- Listening, reading to someone, or listening to music can keep someone occupied and stimulate their brain.
- When someone is down or recovering from a treatment, it’s nice to have someone there who can fix a bowl of soup or make a clean bed.
