How can we at Assisting Hands Home Care, and I as the owner and a German citizen, congratulate my host country on its Independence Day and give back a little?

On this 4th of July, the answer looks like this: Unfortunately, one of my former veteran clients is currently at the VA Dallas Medical Center. We can’t help him directly right now, and I found out that his family can’t visit him today either. So I bought a flag and a patriotic baseball cap, took a long drive, and visited the man. He was incredibly happy, put on the cap, and proudly waved his flag. I spent a few hours entertaining him, cleaning him up, and feeding him. Today’s service was provided for free. When I left, he thanked me again just before falling into a well-deserved sleep. On behalf of my team and my family, I thank this veteran for his service, thank America for offering us such a wonderful business opportunity, and for the air here still being filled with independence. Congratulations, America!
