Giving Back to the Senior Community Through Meaningful Experiences
At Assisting Hands Home Care, we believe that supporting seniors goes far beyond assisting with daily activities. True care is about connection, dignity, and creating moments that bring joy. That is why our team regularly gives back to the senior community by hosting meaningful, hands-on events throughout Frisco, Plano, Little Elm, Prosper, North Carrollton, North Richardson, North Dallas, and surrounding areas.

A Meaningful Return to Evergreen at Plano
A recent example of this commitment took place at Evergreen at Plano Last month, our Community Liaison, Mike Clark, hosted a creative self-care event where seniors could make their own custom body scrubs. With a wide selection of fragrances and ingredients, residents enjoyed mixing, experimenting, and personalizing their creations. The event was such a success that both residents and staff asked us to come back.
This week, we happily returned—this time with a facial scrub activity. Seniors once again selected from gentle ingredients and soothing scents, creating a relaxing and enjoyable experience focused on self-care and connection. The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and conversation as residents shared the experience together.

Why These Events Matter
Social interaction and creative engagement play an essential role in seniors’ emotional and cognitive well-being. Activities like these reduce feelings of isolation, encourage connection, and help seniors feel valued and included.
At Assisting Hands Home Care, these events are not sales-driven. They are relationship-driven. They reflect our mission to enhance quality of life—not only through professional in-home care, but by showing up for the senior community in meaningful ways.
We are proud to serve North Texas seniors with compassion, presence, and heart—both inside the home and beyond it.
