Assisting Hands provides Overnight Care in North Texas which includes Plano, Frisco and surrounding areas such as McKinney, Prosper, Allen, Little Elm. We serve our clients and even into more remote towns like Celina, Van Alstynes, Anna, Melissa, Roland, New Hope.

Providing care for a loved one is always a difficult task. This task becomes even more difficult at night, especially if you are also trying to sleep in the house or if you stay in your own home at night, leaving your loved ones alone. There will be no one to assist your loved ones if they require assistance in the middle of the night. This is especially dangerous in the event of an emergency.   

Assisting Hands Home Care can assist your loved ones in Collin, Dallas and Denton County who could benefit from having a certified caregiver in their homes overnight. We offer overnight care, in which we will send a caregiver to your loved one’s home to stay awake and assist them throughout the night. Our certified caregiver will arrive prior to your loved ones’ bedtime to assist them in getting dressed and ready. We will also remain awake all night to provide assistance as needed.

With our overnight care services, you can expect our caregiver to cover the following:

  • Help with getting ready for bed, including washing up and dressing
  • If assistance is required in getting out of bed,
  • Assist with restroom usage and other late-night activities.

Our overnight caregiving services are ideal for seniors suffering from the following conditions:

Dementia: Seniors with dementia frequently wake up confused in the middle of the night and begin wandering. Our caregivers will keep a close eye on those suffering from dementia to ensure they do not endanger themselves. 

Post-Surgery: Those recovering from surgery may have trouble sleeping at night. We can assist seniors who have recently had surgery in shifting positions in bed to stay comfortable, as well as with medication and restroom use.

Falls: Falls are more likely to occur at night, when a senior is half asleep walking through a darkened home. Our caregivers will guide your loved ones through the house at night to reduce the risk of falls.

Vision Impairment: Many seniors have poor vision, which makes walking around their homes at night dangerous. We can assist seniors with low vision in safely using the restroom at night.

Our overnight care services will give you and your loved ones peace of mind knowing that a caregiver is nearby and ready to help you at any time during the night.

Wolfgang Willems, the owner, and his team at Assisting Hands serving Frisco and Plano are top notch! We have been using them since July 2022 to help care for our mother who experienced life-changing illness in June. Coping with hospitals, insurance companies and rehab facilities has been so emotionally and physically draining on our family and we felt we were caught in a downward, never-ending spiral. Assisting Hands Frisco is doing a phenomenal job by caring for my mother. It all started with both an easy but diligent intake done by Henny, their care manager. Already the next day after the intake, we had the first caregiver coming to my mother's home. Henny calls my mother and me every week just to keep everyone in the loop. The caregivers are on time and care for my mother as if she were a family member.
