Our visits will occur a minimum number of times per week and at a minimum number of hours per visit to provide them with in-person companionship and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. EnsureCheck for Seniors in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities
Our caregivers are allowed to visit and check in on your elderly loved ones living at nursing homes and assisted living facilities because we are considered essential workers. We will communicate with the facility administrator to schedule regular visits with your loved ones. When we visit, we follow CDC safety guidelines as well as the protocols of the facility to keep your loved ones protected.
You can expect the following when our caregivers visit your senior loved ones:
- Our caregivers will provide your loved ones with companionship and engage them in friendly conversation, games, walks, and other outdoor activities. We can also help communicate with their loved ones through phone calls and FaceTime.
- We can help your loved ones with activities of daily living (ADLs) as well as light housekeeping, medication reminders, and other necessary activities.
- Our caregivers will monitor their physical appearance and mood or mental status and look for changes. Our observations will be added to a family-friendly online portal that your family can view.
EnsureCheck for Seniors Living at Home
If your loved ones live at home, we can provide visits a minimum number of times per week at a minimum number of hours per visit. In between visits, we will check in with supplemental phone calls. When we visit your loved one’s home, you can expect us to follow CDC guidelines and use proper personal protective equipment to keep your loved ones safe.
During the visits, our caregivers will provide general companionship for your loved ones and help them with activities around the house. We will work to keep your loved ones in good health and good spirits and identify areas of concern with their mental and physical well-being. Our caregivers will report back to you regularly to keep you updated on their health and well-being.
You can expect our caregivers to take care of the following with your loved ones:
