What We Do
Personal assistance with daily activities
Your caregiver can provide you or a loved one with assistance with ambulation, toileting, dressing, medication reminders, transportation to medical appointments, picking up prescriptions, bathing and washing, organizing incoming mail and going to the post office, and any routine personal errands that may be required.
Light housekeeping and chores
Your caregiver can provide you or a loved one with services such as vacuuming, washing dishes, laundry, dusting, bed making, sweeping, mopping floors, taking out the trash, cleaning out the fridge and pantry of expired foods and any other light housekeeping items you or a loved one might require.
Grocery shopping and meal preparation
Overall health and well-being can be improved by ensuring your loved one is receiving healthy, well-balanced meals. In addition to tasting better, nutritious meals play an important role in maintaining good health. Caregivers prepare meals in accordance with any special diet, serve the meal, provide eating assistance and clean up afterward.

Marina experienced the difficulties of taking care of an elderly parent when her mother passed away. She and her sisters became the primary caretakers of their father, who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. At the same time, her mother in law struggling for years to take care of her husband, who suffered from Parkinson’s.
Because of these experiences, Marina is devoted to delivering the home care her family wished they had for her own family.

24 Hour Home Care & Live-in Care
If your senior loved ones need a caregiver present in their home 24 hours a day, Assisting Hands Home Care can help with either live-in caregivers or 24-hour home care services. Our live-in care services are ideal for seniors who need someone during the day, but don’t require much attention at night. The caregiver will live in the home for 3 or 4 days before switching with a second caregiver. The live-in caregiver will be in the house 24 hours a day, but, of course, will need time to sleep at night.
If your loved one needs someone nearby at all times, our 24-hour home care services provide care around the clock as we assign multiple caregivers who will switch shifts every 12 hours. This guarantees that a licensed caregiver will be in the home awake and ready to provide assistance 24 hours a day.
We also offer hourly care options for those who don’t need 24 Hour & Live-in care.
