At a recent meeting, our speaker was Jack Hairston III, founder of Jack the Bike Man, a non-for-profit located in West Palm Beach, FL.  For more than 20 years Jack the Bike Man, Inc. has fixed bikes and donated them to needy children and adults in the West Palm Beach area.  Jack related how the non for profit started in the north end of West Palm Beach.  One day he fixed a child’s bike, and then the next day another two kids appeared with bikes that needed fixing.  It grew throughout the years and in 2018 the organization donated over 6,000 bikes.  The biggest fundraiser for Jack the Bike Man, Inc. is a Gala coming up on December 14, 2019.  For more information, please click: Jackthebikeman.org
