Julie Tombari is the Administrator of New Day Adult Day Care Center and has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Gerontology. She started working in adult daycare in 1991 as an activities director in a small organization in Massachusetts. Her role there included managing daily operations, expanding the day program, opening a dementia-specific program and opening new sites for additional programs. Julie worked with Rogerson Communities for 14 years and most of that time as the Director of Adult Day Services. In 2005 she moved to Wellington Florida. While in Florida she had the opportunity to work in an Assisted Living, a Long Term Care Facility and now back to adult daycare. Since 2007, Julie has been the Administrator of New Day Adult Care Center. She is a certified Alzheimer’s Level 1 & 2 trainer in the state of Florida and was trained through the Alzheimer’s Association to lead caregiver support groups.
