Live-In Caregivers

Our live-in care services are one care option we offer for those who need a caregiver present in their home throughout the day and night.  With these services, we will assign two live-in caregivers and they will take turns living in the home for 3-4 days at a time before alternating.  One of our caregivers will always be present in the home 24 hours a day to help with personal care and any assistance needed through the morning, afternoon, and night.

When you call Assisting Hands for live-in care services, we will send a member of our staff to meet with you and your loved ones and assess their care needs.  With help from you and your loved one, we will then create a care plan that covers their needs and ensures that one of our caregivers is always in the home.  Our live-in caregivers can help with personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, transportation, and light housekeeping.

You can expect our live-in care providers to wake up with your loved one and help them with their morning routine, including bathing and dressing.  We will then be awake and present throughout the day to provide personal assistance and help around the house including housekeeping and preparing meals.  In the evening, we will assist your loved ones with their nighttime routines and help them get to bed.
